Purchasing Skating Photos and Digital Images

There are approximately half a million figure skating and ice dancing photographs available for purchase.

Digital photographs are available for the 2005-2006 through 2009-2010 seasons in JPEG format. All of these are displayed in the searchable database as unedited low resolution JPEG images for proof purposes.

Photographs on color and black-and-white film are available for the 1991-1992 through 2004-2005 seasons. A few of these photographs for popular skaters appear on the database as low resolution scans for proof purposes. Other images must be sent to a professional scanning firm to be converted to digital images at a cost of $1.00 USD per image, payable in advance. Only good quality photographs will be scanned.

All of the original unedited digital images for any skater or couple, on and of ice, for the 2005-06 through 2009-10 seasons are available on CD/DVD at a cost of $25.00 USD, worldwide shipping included. Image size ranges from 4 to 8 MB each.

Edited digital images in a size and dpi you request cost an additional $1.00 USD per edited photo.

Photos taken on film are available for $2.00 USD per photo commercially scanned at 8x12 inches at 300 dpi with a $25.00 USD minimum purchase unless the CD/DVD of 2005-2010 photographs is ordered at the same time. In that case, there is only a charge for each additional scanned photo. For example, all of the digital images plus five scanned images would cost $35.00 USD and not $50.00 USD.

Professional prints are available at a cost of $10.00 USD per 8x10 inch photo and $8.00 per 5x7 plus $5.00 shipping.

Images can be uploaded to a special directory on www.jbmittan.com for you to download or can be sent by FTP at no additional charge.
