Proof
scans of photographs will be emailed upon request at no
charge (1500-1800 DPI off the negative, JPEG compressed
to approximately 30 KB). Turnaround time is usually within
24 hours 7 days per week unless Mr. Mittan is on assignment.
Higher resolution scans are also available up to 2700
DPI (10 MB). Copies of photographs or transparencies may
be obtained for a research fee to cover the costs of laboratory
processing. Fedex shipping is available for rush orders
(paid by recipient). |

All
photographs were taken at public events as an accredited
photojournalist. Mr. Mittan is a member of the National
Sportswriters and Sportscaster Association (NSSA, the
Association Internationale de Presse Sportive (AIPS),
and the Professional Skaters Association (PSA).

Printed
periodicals may be granted first-time publication or reprint
rights for color or black-and-white reproduction; for
North American, European, or worldwide distribution; or
for exclusive use, with costs dependent upon usage.

Use
of any photograph or any image of a photograph originally
taken by Mr. Mittan is prohibited unless a written authorization
is obtained in advance of publication.

Photographs
used in any publication must be accompanied by appropriate
photo credit in the usual style of the publication, preferably

or © J. Barry Mittan, Photographer unless
an alternative is approved by Mr. Mittan. Photographs
accompanying an article written by Mr. Mittan may include
the photo credit in the title, e.g. Written and Photographed
by J. Barry Mittan or Article and Photos by J.
Barry Mittan.

Payment
at the publication's usual rate and copies of each publication
in which any photographs appear must be sent to Barry
Mittan, 11398 Buck Lake Road, Tallahassee, FL 32317-8648.

copyrights and other rights are retained by Mr. Mittan
unless specifically noted in writing.

Any
use of a skater's image for commercial purposes must be
approved by the skater or the skater's agent or management
firm. Use of photographs from some events is restricted.
